In 1965 Wayne Garrison purchased a home with 30 acres on the East Blaine Road in Blaine, Maine. With his wife Jackie by his side, Wayne planted his first crop that year. Wayne and Jackie worked hard to grow the farm and raise their three children, Andrea, Gregg and Tracey. After graduating from college in 1988 Gregg joined his father on the farm and together they started ‘Double G Farms’. The father and son farmed together for 28 years until Wayne retired in 2016. Today Gregg runs the farm along with his two oldest children, Spencer Garrison and Olivia (Garrison) Hammond.

Double G Farms grows 900 acres of potatoes for McCain Foods, Pineland Farms, McCrum and Fox Family Chips, along with a rotational grain crop.
